In this masterclass Gavin Rajah touches on the different facets of negotiating, using practical examples based on his own experiences. As creatives, negotiating is crucial to our practices. The aim of this knowledge share is to give insight into the different stages of the negotiation process and to provide viewers with a useful set of tips on what to consider on entering a negotiation.

SPEAKER BIO

Gavin Rajah is an award-winning South African fashion designer and businessman. He is the founder of Gavin Rajah Atelier, Gavin Rajah Concept and The Whitelight Movement, an organization that does skills training and work placement with women who are survivors of sexual abuse and/or domestic violence.

He is a largely influential personality in our local creative ecosystem is a passionate advocate for young talent in South Africa.

His work has featured in international publications such as Milano Finanza, Icon, Luna, Avant Garde, Harper’s & Queen, Uomo collezioni, Donna Collezioni, London Sunday Times, London Financial Times, The Face, Donna, L’Officiel, Vogue, BBC, CNN and the Los Angeles Times.
