DML & SALS: The Basics of Art Law Part 3 - Labour Law

OVERVIEW

On the 29th of November 2023, DML Law, the Stellenbosch Art Law Clinic, and Art School Africa hosted an informative, engaging workshop on the basics of art law and the legal side of the art world. We unpacked areas of law such as contract law, labour law, and copyright law. With the ever-evolving landscape of technology, the workshop also explored relevant topics surrounding AI-generated art and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), shedding light on what exactly they are and delving deep into their legal implications.
