SPEAKER BIO

Towela Kams is a photographer, filmmaker and emerging curator based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is passionate about solidifying African identity through the Arts in Africa.

She is the Founder of Curating Africa – an educational programme that she designed and developed that has been added to the African Leadership Academy’s curriculum offerings.  Towela is also the Curator-at-Large for Latitudes Online.
