Summer Workshop Series (in-person)
Starting this November, Art School Africa will host its first Summer Workshop Series in collaboration with Everard Read, VANSA, and 16 on Lerotholi. The series aims to empower artists in Cape Town, with a particular focus on the community Langa, and will cover key aspects of building a sustainable career in the arts.
There will be six workshops in total, covering topics such as industry dynamics, intellectual property, marketing, financial management, and more. Led by experts in their fields, each workshop will combine theoretical insights with hands-on learning to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the art world.
In addition to skill-building, the series promotes a community-driven approach to growth within the industry and offers invaluable networking opportunities.
